'in/tangible cartographies – new arab video' was commisioned by World Wide Video Festival 2001, and especially curated by Jayce Salloum.
Searching through remembrances of the war for answers that of course are
not to be told and not to be found, searching for the search, for the reason of
searching, good and evil, fault and innocence, the search for a dichotomy that discovers it cannot be one, searching for the responsibility and blame and searching for answers where there are only people trying to get on with their lives no matter what... Arbid tries to construct a history by searching for a truth and finds one at each corner, under each bed and behind the pockmarks of
each stray bullet left from the war all are trying to forget.
