'in/tangible cartographies – new arab video' was commisioned by World Wide Video Festival 2001, and especially curated by Jayce Salloum.
Using quick takes to hyperload a sentence that becomes a slogan the tape wraps around itself and the meaning of political rhetoric in a response to the politics of the day. Part of an ongoing anti-advertisement series where creating a specific relationship to the audience through various conceptual moves is explored. Here the political is consciously defined through an easily accessible code.
