The title is the first word of a quotation which scrolls through the middle of the screen and determines the length of this production. The text, 'Correction' by Thomas Bernard, supposes that everything is as it is - nothing more. This immediately removes all desire to interpret the images that accompany the text. Images that demand attention. Left, in black and white, a slow, continuous stream of passers-by; right, in vivid colour, the equally, apparently, ceaseless movements of a masturbator, who, despite Henri Mancini's surging music, fails to bring his rhythmic activities to a satisfactory conclusion before the end of the quotation. For less, one would take refuge in the stuffing of birds.
