Music Transfer / Time Code II
Music Transfer is the second project of an international group of producers and television makers who call themselves Time Code. The first edition of Time Code was presented in 1985 and contained seven productions from video makers from Great Britain, the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Western Germany and the Netherlands. The compilation was televised in all participating countries and won a prize on the Montreal Video and Film Festival. The number of participating countries grew rapidly following this successful start. Time Code II (in which the Netherlands do not participate, by the way) has less Western characteristics, due to contributions from, amongst others, Mozambique, Costa Rica, Greece and Hungary. Music Transfer consists of a dozen video promos (so-called 'culture clips') in which video makers picture the musical folklore of their respective countries in diverging ways. The contributions of Licinio Azevedo (Mozambique), Jan Vromman (Belgium) and András Wahorn (Hungary) have been chosen separately for the festival selection.

During the Videomarket Music Transfer will premiere in the Netherlands. Also, a first preliminary meeting of the participating co-producers of Time Code III will be held.
