The evolution of the world in a nutshell: landscape, people, city, culture. Saskia Lupini indicates these four stages of development with film recordings transferred to video and then edited. During the transfer craftsmanlike interventions we re made. The images from reality often look abstract but are really paintings in themselves. The sound plays a sinificant dramatic role: music by the Sioux, the voice of Rudolph Valentino and work by Nino Rota and Darius Milhaud are among the elements encapsulated between thunder and silence.
