Black humour on the subject of cancer. Two victims are to discuss the big 'C’: John Wayne and Susan Hayward. Two 'corpses' are shown, two 'ventriloquists' manipulate the lifeless bodies as puppets. Humour to chuckle at, but with a serious content that cannot be ignored. What is now the most serious threat to human health? The elected packet of cigarettes, or the nuclear threat of cruise missiles and nuclear power stations? The government campaigns fiercely against the dangers of nicotine, but adopts a more 'subtle' stance on the dangers of nuclear power. It is a strange paradox which the makers tackle with relatively coarse satire.
