In this report on the Peace Demonstration held in Amsterdam in November 1981, the attention is not concentrated on its size. (It was the largest demonstration ever held in Holland, mobilizing no less than 400,000 people.) The video shows the intensive local preparations. This glimpse behind the scenes reveals a rich and varied picture of campaigning Holland. This programme is free of endless discussions about Nukes: after all the opinion polls had already confirmed the fact that more than half the Dutch population was suffering from Hollanditis. Let's hope that the virus of the only healthy disease has spread even further; all patients can report on 29 October this year in The Hague, when another massive peace demonstration is to be held.
