A spontaneous documentary about the far-from secure position of 'Guest Workers' in Holland's horticultural industry. Their housing is rudimentary: they live in attics, caravans and glass-houses. Their position is precarious: the sack means losing their housing. They regularly meet with obstinate unhelpfulness from the local authorities and employers. The guest workers campaign to draw attention to their problems and the presence of a camera crew stimulated this.
