Gábor Bódy uses the literal meaning of the world clip ( = short) to give each of his philo-mytho-lyric-clips the duration of about three minutes. Agrippa von Nettesheim (1486-1535), scholar of the occult and medical quack, exerted great influence on generations of alchemists. In around 1509 he wrote 'De Occulta Philosophia', a manual on magic, in which mysterious powers are ascribed to stones, herbs and numbers. 'De Occulta Philosophia', Bódy's inspiration, is interpreted by him as follows. Diagrammatic postures of the human body are combined with elliptical light signals which pulsate into visibility on the screen, prompted by eruptions of synthesized sound. A figure appears on the screen - von Nettesheim, Bódy?
