This tape adopts the tub-thumping style typical of America to pronounce sentence on the sanctity of marriage. After an almost nostalgic description of the book 'Happiness in marriage' by Dr Clyde Narramore, in which he offers countless useful tips for the attainment of instant marital bliss, there follows an exposition of an ancient Guatamalan indian custom according to which every child has a box with six dolls in it: if the child has had problems on a particular day, he takes out of the box that evening one doll for each problem. The doll will then solve the problem on the child's behalf during the night. Suddenly, however, after this cheerful introduction, the tape confronts the viewer with a graphic description of child battering and makes clear that neither the wise counsels of Dr Clyde Narramore nor six dolls per day are any real solution.
