This accumulation of vowels, blown up in the tape to truly Hollywood proportions, is a particularly apt title. It's a quip dating from the period when the Habsburgs could proudly claim that the sun would never set on their empire: Austriae Est Imperare Orbi Universo, for which egg-heads have invented a correct translation, Alles Erdreich Ist Österreich Untertan. When it was becoming apparant that Apollo's chariot of the sun was drawn no more by Lipillaners, somebody adjusted the quip to read: Austria Erit In Orbe Ultima, Austria shall survive all on earth. Cold comfort for the population of the mountain state as they try to live on into the future, misunderstood by the rest of the world and aware that what respect there is for their culture rests upon Mozart, Freudian babble, and the good report of old man 'We don't want to know' Waldheim. This Austrian tape is nevertheless more than deserving of respect.
