Against a background of icebergs and more inhabitable landscapes, Miller's two futuristic-looking puppets carry on a dialogue. They represent the insect-haters, and their distorted, metallic-sounding voices are in perfect keeping with their physical appearance. Only their moving mouths look real. A simple rhythmic sound forms the basis for their movements. In archive shots we see large-scale insecticide programmes in action, with planes gushing the familiar clouds; but there are also 'jokey' incidents on offer, like a clip of people cheerfully taking a veritable insecticide-shower. It goes without saying that the title of this tape should be read in the opposite sense. The bar rocks suggest a futuristic world, blighted by the uncritical use of all sorts of chemical products, from which a nostalgic caption recommends an unrealistic escape route: no island exists now that is far enough away.
