A woman grows a tail and because of it finds herself no longer at home in the everyday world. She therefore takes to her heels and lands up first in the world of legless sirens and mermaids - thereafter to seek her salvation in the Garden of Desires. Her confrontation with the strange inhabitants of the Garden seems to promise heaven on earth, but desire retains its perennial nature. Once again in this tape, Schouten has created a world inspired by a multitude of images originating in the media. She expresses this world through texts which lie halfway between slogans and lines of poetry. The illusionary nature of the 'new' world becomes clear through the colourising of the images - not just freaking out on video but even tints of erotic red and threatening midnight-blue - and the Fellini-esque array of the creatures that play a role in it. There is a satirical undertone to Wissing's music also.
