The form gives this video more content that one might at first sight suspect. Subtle acting and attention to detail create a feeling of uneasiness with which many of the 'Lost Generation' will be able to identify. This feeling is further intensified by the background music which suggests influences from the heyday of the American cinema: we are plunged amid an atmosphere of nostalgia, far away from post-modern visual traumas, back into a simpler world where no more is expected of us than to identify with the protagonist and her desires. The action and unspoken dialogue of this video convey the impression of a censored Hollywood version of the Tirolerfilms of the '70s. This gives proof of considerable social-historical insight on the part of the makers.
