Soldiers dance with women in a tormented world. These images are supported by portraits of the great revolutionary leaders like Marx, Lenin and Stalin, and by a text from Michel Foucault who is of the opinion that revolution and politics go hand in hand and thus maintain the violence in the world. The use of video technique here deserves a special mention. Original naturalistic shots undergo such an electronic treatment that only the intrinsic characteristics remain. Although the poetic result is effective, there is no question here of a 'handwriting'. The equipment delivers this 'on hand' and one could better speak of truly artful navigation here.
