Akarova, the pseudonym of Marquerite Acarin (1904), is a Belgian dancer who made her name with creations to music by modern composers such as Stravinsky, Milhaud and Poulenc. A short impression gives us traces of a richly varied past expressed in the countless attributes which decorate her rooms and through which she glides like a fish in water. A 'diary-like' fragment then shows her in old age, still active as a piano teacher.
