Leccia uses two screens to maximize the effect of lightning in a thunderstorm. A continuous sequence of sharp flashes of lightning create explosions of light, immediately followed by the echoing sounds of thunder. Like the classic Romantic artists, Leccia’s emphasis is on the experience and the sense of high drama conveyed by natural phenomena.
